Ray’s Boathouse Cafe

Taking advantage of the no-rain weekend, I had dinner with a couple of good friends at Ray’s Boathouse Cafe out in Seattle on Sunday. Although it was a little chilly, the deck was in full-service and we managed to grab one of the tables outside! Blankets were readily available which made sitting outside very enjoyable actually!

The waitress did a wonderful job selling their Copper River King Salmon special for the evening. I rarely order fish that’s not in the form of sushi or sashimi, but our waitress informed us that this particular salmon is in season right now and extremely fatty so I decided to give it a try. The $28 price tag might scare off some people, but let me tell you, it was definitely worth it! Cooked medium well, the fish was prepared extremely well. The meat was moist and flavourful. The sides included some mix veggies and mash potatoes which were pretty ordinary.

My husband ordered a cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. I took a bite of his burger and thought it was pretty decent but nothing to rave about. The fries were crispy and non-greasy though, I found myself reaching for his fries constantly!

Total Cost for the Meal:
$45 for two (tax and tips included) **with Prime Card discount**
Final Verdict:
Amazing view + great food + accepts prime card… what more can you ask for?
